How does the riddle quiz scoring work?
Each correct answer earns 100 base points. Answer quickly for a speed bonus (up to +50 points), and build a streak of consecutive correct answers for a multiplier (1.25x at 2 in a row, 1.5x at 3+). A perfect quiz earns you an additional 50 bonus XP.
Do I type my answers or pick from multiple choice?
You type your answers — no multiple choice options to guess from. The system uses flexible matching so you don't need the exact phrasing, but you do need to know the answer. This makes our quizzes a genuine test of your riddle-solving ability.
Which quiz mode should I start with?
If you're new to riddles, start with the Easy Warm-Up (60 seconds per riddle, beginner-friendly). If you want a balanced challenge, try Mixed Challenge. For experienced puzzlers, Brain Crusher and Speed Blitz will push your limits.
Can I challenge my friends to a riddle quiz?
Yes — use the Challenge feature to create a custom quiz. You take it first, then share a unique link with friends. They play the exact same riddles and you compare scores on a shared leaderboard. Great for pub trivia nights and group events.
How is this different from other riddle quizzes online?
Most riddle quizzes use multiple choice answers, making it easy to guess. Our quizzes require you to type the answer, adding real pressure combined with a countdown timer. The scoring system rewards both accuracy and speed, and your XP carries over to the global leaderboard.
Are the quiz riddles the same every time?
No — each quiz draws from a large pool of riddles and shuffles them randomly. You'll get a different set every time you play, so there's always a fresh challenge even if you replay the same mode.
