1) Eligibility

5) License you grant to DoRiddles

By submitting User Content, you grant DoRiddles a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for clarity, formatting, safety, and tagging), publish, publicly display, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating and improving the Service. This license allows us to publish your riddle, add hints/explanations, correct typos, and feature your content in collections or promotional placements for DoRiddles.

6) Content rules and prohibited submissions

You agree not to submit User Content that:

• Infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other rights of others
• Contains personal data of others (doxxing), or violates privacy
• Is hateful, harassing, or discriminatory toward protected groups
• Contains explicit sexual content involving minors (strictly prohibited)
• Encourages self-harm, violence, or illegal activity
• Is spam, deceptive, or intended to manipulate rankings

7) Moderation and enforcement

We may review, edit, refuse to publish, or remove content at our discretion, including for policy violations or quality issues. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8) Copyright complaints (DMCA-style process)

If you believe content on DoRiddles infringes your copyright, use our contact form with the subject line “Copyright Notice” and include: 1) identification of the copyrighted work; 2) the URL of the allegedly infringing content; 3) your contact details; 4) a statement of good-faith belief; and 5) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act.

9) Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, features, and trademarks (excluding User Content), is owned by DoRiddles or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. You may not copy or reuse it without permission.

10) Third-party services and links

The Service may include links to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.

11) Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Riddles and explanations are for entertainment and educational purposes only. We do not guarantee that content is error-free or that the Service will be uninterrupted.

12) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DoRiddles will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

13) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DoRiddles from claims arising out of your use of the Service or your User Content, including alleged infringement or policy violations.

14) Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or if required for security/legal reasons.

15) Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective indicates acceptance.

16) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
